What is the First Choice Plumbing text messaging program?

The program is run by First Choice Plumbing INC, doing business as First Choice Plumbing, a licensed Florida plumbing contractor (CFC1430748). It sends text messages to customers and people who contact us, but only to those who agreed to receive them. Messages come from 352-377-9447.

What text messages will I receive?

Two kinds, and you choose each one separately.

Service messages. These are about a job you asked us about or booked:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Arrival windows and on the way notices
• Schedule changes
• Quotes and estimates
• Invoices and payment receipts
• Warranty follow ups
• Replies to questions you send us

Marketing messages. These only come if you checked the marketing box:

• Maintenance reminders, such as an annual tankless flush or water softener service
• Seasonal reminders, such as freeze prep and hurricane season prep
• Special offers
• Membership Plan promotions
• Review requests after a job

We only text about plumbing work from First Choice Plumbing. We do not send messages about unrelated products, and we never send messages on behalf of another company.

How do I agree to receive texts?

By checking a box on our contact form or booking form, or by texting us first.

Next to the phone field there are two separate checkboxes, one for service messages and one for marketing messages. Neither is checked for you and neither is required. You can check one, both, or neither and still book a job. The boxes read:

If you text us first, we reply about what you asked. Texting us does not sign you up for marketing messages.

By checking a box, you confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of that mobile number.

How often will you text me, and what does it cost?

Message frequency varies. Service messages follow the timing of your job, and marketing messages are occasional. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. First Choice Plumbing does not charge you for text messages.

How do I stop text messages?

Reply STOP to any message. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. You will receive one message confirming that you opted out, and then no more texts to that number.

Opting out does not cancel an appointment. If you have a job on the books, we will call you about it instead. To start receiving texts again, reply START.

How do I get help?

Which carriers are supported?

Messages work on all major US wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier, your plan, and your coverage.

What happens to my mobile number?

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent collected by First Choice Plumbing INC are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party or affiliate for that party’s own marketing purposes.
